This is my first of a series of Aspens on wood panel. I have been painting and doing pastels on paper for the last 22 years. I have been switching it and moving more to the wood panels. I like the wood panels from the start. Just getting them ready to paint. I use 3 applications of gesso. While I'm putting on the gesso I'm starting to bond with the board, thinking what I am going to paint.
My husband , Joe, and I go hiking all the time. When you get into a grove of Aspens you feel almost magical. In Colorado we have the largest living organisms, the Aspens, in the world. To see these wonders any time of year is a joy and a blessing.
The original has been sold but I have giclees` numbered. This giclee is the same size as the original, 16"v and 21 "H. This particular one is 4/50g, unframed and unmated. I can matt and frame for another $375. Making the total price $725. Shipping is extra.
